We’re all so busy. Kids to take care of. Schedules to track. Homes to clean. Laundry to do. Work. Lots of work, whether it’s outside the home or not. It’s so easy to get stressed. I get busy trying to get as much work done as I can, especially after the baby goes to bed.

Yet I still see many undone items on my to do list. Does it ever end? I start getting stressed about all that didn’t get done. All that I still need to squeeze in somewhere.

I need to remember to take a stress break. A quick 5 – 10 minutes to get up and stretch, breathe deeply, maybe even do a few quick yoga stretches. It does wonders for my outlook when I just stop and quickly regroup.

Do you forget to take breaks from whatever you’re doing? What do you do to relieve stress?

  1. To me it is all in the attitude. If you are enjoying yourself there is less stress. Enjoy the journey.

  2. I have needed to work on enjoying more and worrying less. It’s a work in progress. :)
